When youth are disengaged from school for significant periods of time, Mentor4U can help them navigate any challenges they may be facing and get them back on track to reach their education and personal goals.

Mentor4U Mentors provide safe, non-judgmental support, in an environment such as a young person’s home, local library or community centre, working one on one with them to build the skills, attitude, confidence, and abilities they need to continue through to further education or employment.

As a Mentor4U Youth Mentor you will be responsible for supporting students in gaining essential life skills, through a range of external activities. You will create a supportive learning environment to help students participate in learning modules through the Certificates in General Education for Adults.

This position will be offered on a fixed term part time basis working 45.6 hours per fortnight. This role will be located in Cannington; however, daily travel to outreach locations is required.
