About the role -
We are seeking a School Officer – Design Technology – Technical Assistant to provide administrative and operational assistance to the Leader of Learning - Technologies and the Business Manager.

The role holder operates within the Catholic Educational environment and culture and will be supportive of the mission of the College.

This is a Fixed Term Part Time role 15 hours per week – days to be negotiated.

To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:

  • have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.

Noosa Christian College is seeking a motivated and dedicated Teacher Aide to join our dynamic and growing school in our Secondary Campus.

The College is a Kindergarten to Year 12 co-educational campus and part of the Seventh-day Adventist Church Education System, situated at 20 Cooroy Belli Creek Road, Cooroy in the Noosa Shire.

The position is 22 hours per week, term time.

Qualifications required:

  • The person must have a strong commitment to Christian values and be prepared to support ideals and beliefs of Adventist Education.
  • Certificate 3 or 4 in Education Support
  • Previous experience in an education institution or similar industry would be an advantage.

Guitar Teacher/Tutor

An exciting opportunity exists for a dedicated and experienced Guitar teacher to join our Victory Arts Program team of teacher/tutor.

Victory Arts tutors have access to the College music resources, and students are supplied to enroll into the program through the College website. Tutors liaise directly with parents to schedule lesson times/days, as well as to invoice and receive payments. 

Position Overview

  • Teaching a variety of styles (Beginner pieces/Classical/Pop) 
  • Teach Private and Shared lessons (2 in a group)
  • Work collaboratively with other Music staff to deliver an effective Instrumental program to Primary and Secondary students
  • Effectively manage timetables and communication with staff, students, and parents.
  • Support the Victory Arts Coordinator in the mission and vision of the Victory Arts program. 
  • Attend a termly Victory Arts Showcase concert with own students performing
  • Prepare students for Guitar examinations and performing opportunities. 

This is a term-time position with the potential to increase with the growth of student numbers. Currently, the successful applicant will have one full day of teaching with the possibility of an on-flow to two days.
