Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of sales and parts departments in the branch.
- Ensure efficient and effective use of resources to meet sales targets and customer satisfaction goals.
- Implement, improve, and enforce company policies and procedures to maintain high standards of performance and compliance.
- Support payroll management by approving and supplying time sheets of staff to head office.
- Monitor and implement a culture of safety awareness.
- Administer fleet and equipment use and maintenance.
Sales & Customer Service:
- Drive revenue growth and market penetration.
- Networking to build and maintain strong relationships with key customers.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer feedback to identify opportunities and risks.
- Develop a deep knowledge of the company’s products and services, including features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
- Establish and grow positive customer relationships.
- Participate in company field days as required.
- Prepare and present periodic reports and forecasts to senior management.
- Be prepared to adapt to changes and assume various roles as needed in a small branch environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar managerial role within the agricultural machinery industry.
- Strong knowledge of agricultural equipment, technologies, and market dynamics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant CRM software (Netsuite preferred but not essential; training will be provided).
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.
