Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of sales and parts departments in the branch.
  • Ensure efficient and effective use of resources to meet sales targets and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Implement, improve, and enforce company policies and procedures to maintain high standards of performance and compliance.
  • Support payroll management by approving and supplying time sheets of staff to head office. 
  • Monitor and implement a culture of safety awareness.
  • Administer fleet and equipment use and maintenance.


Sales & Customer Service: 

  • Drive revenue growth and market penetration.
  • Networking to build and maintain strong relationships with key customers.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer feedback to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Develop a deep knowledge of the company’s products and services, including features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
  • Establish and grow positive customer relationships.
  • Participate in company field days as required.
  • Prepare and present periodic reports and forecasts to senior management.
  • Be prepared to adapt to changes and assume various roles as needed in a small branch environment.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar managerial role within the agricultural machinery industry.
  • Strong knowledge of agricultural equipment, technologies, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant CRM software (Netsuite preferred but not essential; training will be provided).
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.

Production Supervisor - Local Role

Australian Garnet is a leading WA based, multi-disciplined mining operation. A wholly owned subsidiary of ASX listed Resource Development Group (RDG), we believe our people are paramount to our success and we want you to join us on our journey. 

We are looking for a local Production Supervisor to join our team, working on our recently constructed Lucky Bay mine site. The mine has a 30 year + mine life and is located within a thirty-minute drive from Kalbarri township.

Working 8 days on 6 days off, preference will be given to being locally based in the Kalbarri or Geraldton region or a person who wants to work fly in / fly out for a period and once comfortable relocate the family into the region. 

Being a little different to your run of the mill roles, we are looking to create high function, multi skilled team who can work from one end of the operation to the other.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Safety of all personnel at the Lucky Bay mine;
  • Assist Process Superintendent with planning and coordinating production coordination and planning;
  • Packaging plants operation and maintenance;
  • Quality assurance of final product and associated batch certificates;
  • Respectful dealings with all personnel;
  • Assign and allocate resources appropriately; 
  • Monitor performance of the packaging teams and provide feedback;

To be successful in this role you must be able to demonstrate:

  • At least 3 years in supervisory positions;
  • At least 5 years of experience in product handling and logistics;
  • Experience with packaging plants.
  • Strong leadership and communication with operational teams;
  • Proven abilities to lead teams and manage processes;
  • Proven abilities to deliver a safe work environment; 
  • Develop team members’ capabilities in support of individual career goals and team objectives.
