Tegra Australia is inviting applications for an energetic and motivated person for the position of Landscape Yard Supervisor based in our Harden Landscape Supplies yard. The successful applicant will need to demonstrate initiative and enthusiasm along with:

 

  • Experience in the retail environment.
  • High level of customer service skills.

  • Stock control of supplies and product.
  • Hold MR Class Licence.
  • Competency in front end loader operations advantageous.
  • SafeWork forklift licence advantageous.

About the Job

Primarily as a Landscape Yard Supervisor/Driver at Tegra Landscape outlet, however other duties include:- sales, servicing customer needs, work in a safe manner, front-end loader and forklift operation, stock control, maintain a clean presentable workplace, completing clerical duties, general yards duties, deliveries as required, any other duties as directed and to work and co-operate as a productive team member of the Tegra group.

 

Hours

Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4.30pm. Saturdays (during daylight savings) 8am to 11am.

 

Qualifications:

  • Hold a current HR Drivers Licence.
  • Have General Induction White Card.
  • Competency for Front Loader operation.
  • Licence to operate forklift truck preferable.
  • Have a knowledge and understanding of the WH&S requirements. 
  • Industry experience advantageous.

Reporting to the Regional Quarry Manager (Milbrae Quarries) Eastern Region, the Quarry Manager will be responsible for managing all onsite operations of the quarry and for the effective, cost efficient coordination of people, resources and equipment to meet market requirements, whilst ensuring compliance with all applicable legislation.

This is an exciting opportunity to manage an established operation and grow your team and site capability.  You can put your own imprint on the site and join a successful company with a history of stability and a culture of workplace safety, innovation and quality.

Essential Criteria:

  • Relevant experience in a supervisory / management role.
  • Experience in hard rock quarrying, including the operation and maintenance of associated plant and equipment.
  • Ability to obtain and hold a Quarry Manager Practising Certificate and First Aid Certification.
  • Proficient computer literacy.
  • A current Drivers Licence.
