The opportunity

Our Delivery Drivers are the face of Vinnies within the community. Operating on the front line, you will support our local community and local retail stores with the pickup & delivery of donated goods. You will have high energy and be a hands-on individual and provide excellent customer service.

We offer a great work-life balance with a set roster of Monday through to Friday from 7 am to 3 pm. All driving will be done locally, and no long-haul or overnight work required.

Some of your daily responsibilities will include the following:

  • Loading/unloading donated goods, including furniture items
  • Distribution of goods to local stores
  • Warehouse duties as required

About You:

  • Previous experience in a similar role in the Automotive industry would be an advantage.
  • Auto It DMS experience would be an advantage but not essential.
  • Be customer focused and able to establish and develop long-term customer relationships
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work well within a team enviroment.
  • Honest and reliable with a 'can do' attitude.
  • Ability to solve problems, prioritise work tasks, meet deadlines and remain calm under pressure.
  • Positive attitude towards increasing performance through continual improvement.
  • Qualified Technician or equivalent skill set would be an advantage.
  • Current Senior Service Advisor or 2IC looking to take the next step.
