The opportunity 

As a member of the Maintenance team your role will work very closely with the production departments on the facility.  Our business aims to reliably and efficiently process pigs and pork products to the highest levels of welfare, quality and customer satisfaction, with a strong focus on Safety, Quality and People. 

Main duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Ability to act with urgency for maintenance breakdowns. 
• Complete preventative maintenance work in accordance with required work orders.
• Work in a methodical manner to ensure production runs smoothly using good observation and problem-solving methodologies.
• Ability to identify and solve root causes to prevent further re-occurrences.
• Complete any preventative maintenance tasks given in a timely manner and to a high standard.
• Ensure clear handover of work performed between the maintenance team and production teams so that all safety and food quality standards are well managed.
• Class C drivers licence.
• Must be able to work flexible hours and able to work in a rotating roster.
• Hold relevant trade qualifications and current licenses
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a growing and interdependent team, working collaboratively with other departments
• Knowledge of WH&S practices and legislation

What we’re looking for

Swickers has established an efficient, highly skilled yet diversified team. As a key member you will have: 

• Trade or degree qualifications
• Class C (unrestricted) drivers licence
• Must be able work shift work and 12-hour rosters. In addition, there may also be occasions where after-hours work is required to repair breakdowns.
• This role, is on paid on wages (hourly rate) at an average of 48 hours per week.  Salary range, circa $105,000 - $110,000 plus superannuation per annum.

CRAICCHS objective is to provide increased access to quality primary health care and social and emotional wellbeing services to the Communities in the South Burnett regions. 

Key Duties:

• Clean all facilities including clinics, waiting areas, treatment / consultation / counselling rooms, bathrooms, youth hub, gym, residential, office and wellness areas

Meandu Mine

BUMA Australia provides a total mine service to Stanwell Corporation's Meandu Mine to deliver coal to the adjacent Tarong power station. We are responsible for both managing and operating the mine.

Services provided include planning, drilling, overburden removal, coal mining, coal processing, rehabilitation, and maintenance of mobile and fixed plant. The project uses a combination of dragline and truck-and shovel operations. Meandu Mine currently has five working pits, with sufficient coal to fuel the stations until at least 2037.

As BUMA Australia grows, we are seeking an experienced Serviceperson to join our Maintenance Team at Meandu on a full-time, permanent basis. As a Serviceperson you will carry out integral maintenance duties such as (but not limited to):

• Daily pre-starts, minor servicing and maintenance works to heavy machinery.
• Operate service truck - utilise hose reels for fuel, water & oils.
• Climb over the machinery to access and check all critical points, fluid levels and refilling points.
• Inspect equipment when servicing and refuelling for defects.
• Record daily fuel, grease and oil intakes.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts.
• Identify possible opportunities that will improve the maintenance function and report to supervisor.

About You

• Previous experience in a similar role within the mining / civil industry.
• HR drivers licence.
• RIISAM212D - Service mine plant and equipment.
• RIIVEH307 - Operate Heavy Rigid Vehicle VOC (highly desirable).
• RIIVEH306 - Operate a Mine Service Vehicle VOC (highly desirable).
• Current Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical (or willingness to obtain).

Council is seeking team members to assist in the effective and efficient operation, maintenance and construction of Councils water and wastewater infrastructure. This position will undertake general labouring duties to construct and repair broken water mains, prepare work sites, lay pipework and install/ replace water meters. The successful applicant will have previous experience performing labouring duties (i.e. pipe laying), able to follow directions, hold basic literacy and numeracy skills, and have ability work effectively in a team environment with sound communication skills.
